It’s no secret that Netflix produces high quality original series. The streaming giant is releasing a new musical drama called “Soundtrack.” The drama will tell a series of love stories across the city of Los Angeles in each episode.
“Every song is a love song,” is the pitch for the show. “Love, loss and transformative luck intersect in this musical series about two struggling artists experiencing life at full volume in Los Angeles.” The voiceover in the trailer also describes the way music can transform the lives of those around us and the power it holds.
Additionally, some of the artists featured in the show include Etta James, Lauryn Hill, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Dolly Parton, The Weeknd, and Bruno Mars. The “Soundtrack” series will premiere on Dec 18th on Netflix. It’s a great way of demonstrating the impact of music and the way it incorporates into our lives.
