Daft Punk Is In The Studio

According to Has It Leaked, there may be some new material in the works from legendary French duo Daft Punk. An early morning post to their Facebook page has some big names that should be causing quite a stir. Rhianna, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar are just a few of the artists named in last week’s early morning post. Surprisingly, it also indicates some old legends like Springsteen, Pearl Jam, and the Deftones are on deck for 2020 releases also. Though Daft Punk appears in the list too, it’s unclear when or what we can expect from them. A docket like this is almost too good to be true. To that effect, it actually looks like something you’d see on a major festival lineup announcement. Check out the full Has It Leaked post below.

As you might expect, the post is certainly being met with sedate enthusiasm from fans. Particularly because the majority of the releases are allegedly due out next year. Understandably, most commenters are hesitant to get their hopes up too high. Nevertheless, Has It Leaked is refusing to blink and even responds with this follow up post:

As you can see, moderators of the mucic hype website definitely sense the apprehension and waste no time doubling down on their claims. Notably, they make it a point to highlight Daft Punk specifically here. Likely, this is a knee-jerk reaction to the intense anticipation that can be felt throughout the duo’s fanbase. Indeed, if this news proves to be true, it will rock the world of EDM just like last time. Seemingly, Has It Leaked is all but staking its reputation on the accuracy of the report. Barring any cosigns from the acts shown here, that will have to hold fans over. Until more concrete announcements become available we’ll all have to anxiously wait in suspense.
