As Armin van Buuren has always mentioned on his A State of Trance radio shows, the TOP 50 Countdown has always been the most anticipated episode of the year. Not only does it showcase the year’s best trance tracks, but the Tune of the Year is also revealed. Yesterday, in #ASOT945, claiming that prestigious title was MaRLo and Feenixpawl‘s ‘Lighter Than Air‘.
Taking second place was Richard Durand and Christina Novelli’s ‘Save You,’ followed by Armin van Buuren and Shapov’s ‘La Résistance De L’Amour.’ Richard Durand had scored the Tune of the Year title in 2018 for ‘The Air I Breathe’ with Christina Novelli.
On top of the Top 50 tracks, the four-hour episode had also revealed its 2019 statistics. Armin van Buuren himself had scored the title of Top Artist Plays, and his label Armind ranked first on Top Label Plays. Here are the full statistics:
