David Guetta and MORTEN Join Forces Again on ‘Make It To Heaven’

The French always say ‘jamais deux sans trois’ (‘never two without three’), and it seems like the French in David Guetta is making sure that holds up. For the third time in five months, the French legend has teamed up with MORTEN for their latest collaboration ‘Make It To Heaven’.

Following on the footsteps of ‘Never Be Alone’ in terms of production arrangements, ‘Make It To Heaven’ once again interlaces moments of darker house beats and high-energy drops with sensual, emotionally-loaded vocals by RAYE. Another recurring partnership, RAYE had previously worked with Guetta on ‘Stay’.

Similarly, Guetta and MORTEN have previously worked together on ‘Never Be Alone,’ a track that had quickly became a crowd favorite. A month later, the two also released a beautiful remix of ‘Heaven’ made “for our friend Avicii,” which premiered in an emotional moment under the rain during Guetta’s set at Tomorrowland.

First dropped in October, ‘Make It To Heaven’ is another milestone in what has been a monumental year for David Guetta. Having ranked #3 on DJ Mag Top 100 and #1 on 1001Tracklist’s Top 101 Producers this year, Guetta has evidently captured fans’ hearts with songs as such, which showcase his new artistic direction that aims to introduce underground sounds onto festival dance floors.
