We had the time of our lives at Red Rocks last month, and it was so surreal to be able to play a venue we’ve been dreaming about our whole life. The majority of this last year has spent constantly reflecting on who we are as artists, and with this new EP we genuinely feel like we’ve poured our essence and feelings into our music. We’re beyond appreciative of you guys and we seriously believe that you’re the best fans any artist could have. We made this EP for you guys to get to know us a little better and we hope you enjoy it ❤️ . . Constellations out FRIDAY! Constellations

‘Constellations’ kicks off with ‘One More Night’ showcasing uplifting, catchy and ethereal tones. In many ways, the melodic essence seems to nod towards a classic sounding tone over fresher sounds. Reaching the chorus, it hits on bright, layered pitchy synths and vocal chops while bringing diversity to the second iteration by intensifying the percussion and kicks. From there, ‘Release Me’ renders Gallie’s lull vocals around ambient pads and consistent snappy percussion. The track evidently shows itself to be a quieter tone on the body of work.

Onward, ‘On My Own’ featuring Satellite Empire takes a different approach to what essentially feels like the first track’s format. From centering around plucky melodies, risers, the vocals and choppy patterns in the chorus. However, it differentiates itself by having a notably calmer and darker atmosphere with a unique melody. Prevailing as a favorite, ‘Never Change’ with Gallie grasps a very catchy tune. Part of what stood out was the melodic bubbling chorus that catches on so well by how the section cuts through. Beyond that, it incorporates a more hard-hitting section with heavier bass. Concluding, ‘Feels Right’ featuring RUNN plays on hushed sliding guitar notes on the verse. This accumulates to an ethereal and heavily padded finale taking notes from each preceding track.

Shows

Crystal Skies currently have a few shows lined up heading towards the end of the year. Specifically, they’re joining Seven Lions in a show and two Ophelia Records showcases.
