Earlier this year in June, Above & Beyond‘s label Anjunadeep hosted its first multi-day festival in Dhërmi, Albania. Aptly named Explorations, the five-night festival focussed not only on music but also explored the ideas of connection and discovery. Just in time before ABGT350 and Anjunadeep Open Air coming up this weekend in Prague, the label has released the long-awaited Anjunadeep presents: Explorations‘ official after-movie (video below!)
Featuring Hosini & Engdahl‘s ‘8 Hours, Still No Rain’ and Ben Böhmer‘s ‘Maelstrom,’ the after movie celebrates the success of Explorations’ inaugural edition. And literally makes us dream of summer.
The festival brought together 45 artists from the imprint, making it the Anjunadeep’s largest label talent gathering to date. The lineup featured names such as Lane 8 and Yotto, on top of a series of live acts, who played during yoga sessions, seaside meditations, beach massages and of course, day parties.
Aside from pure bliss and raw energy, the official video highlights the beauty of the venue itself. As one of Europe’s most pristine coastlines and one of the ‘Top Places to Travel 2019’ according to Lonely Planet, Dhërmi Beach seems to be the perfect location for the inaugural edition of Explorations.
Intrigued? Well, given its success, the festival will return in 2020 from June 18 to 23 at the same location. According to Anjunadeep’s official site, more details will be coming soon in November, so stay tuned!
For now, let’s hold on to those blissful summer moments with the official after movie below!
