Spencer Brown & Ilan Bluestone Release Collaborative EP ‘Gatekeeper’

Ilan Bluestone and Spencer Brown have come together to create some melodic techno-magic on their newly released project ‘Gatekeeper EP’. These Anjunabeats prodigies have each earned their rightful place in the industry with their diverse range of talent, making this collaboration a force to be reckoned with.

Bluestone and Brown are both pushing the boundaries of the progressive space they musically reside in. Brown, in particular, has crafted the art of blending his signature style with different genres. He continues to showcase the diversity of his productions ranging from house to techno, trance to deep house, all while encapsulating his unique flow. Bluestone is also breaking away from his comfort zone to create music outside of his usual sound and ‘Gatekeeper EP’ embodies their impressive ability to take on a new genre.

‘Gatekeeper EP’ is a three-track compilation that Brown has revealed was played during his sets at Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and ABGT350. The EP begins with the one-two punch of “Pooperling” which fuses together Spencer Brown’s progressive sound with Ilan Bluestone’s infamous trance aesthetic. The second track and the EP title “Gatekeeper” has been a crowd-pleaser from both Bluestone and Brown’s gargantuan ABGT350 sets. The EP rounds off with “Steelyard”, a melodic take on the industrial techno formula, and a sought-after ID from Spencer’s set at the Anjunabeats Creamfields Steelyard show last year.
