Seminole Hard Rock Opens Guitar Hotel With Dazzling Show

South Florida’s newest vacation destination celebrated its grand opening on Thursday. After years of construction, the Seminole Hard Rock Guitar Hotel was ready for the spotlight.

The project renovated the entire complex in addition to building plenty of new space. The Guitar Hotel’s imposing structure is visible from miles away on the highway and has become an instantly iconic building in the area. The entrance lobby is equally captivating, with a centerpiece called the Oculus. This oculus is a circular waterfall that looks like a space ship teleporter, and comes complete with a musical light show.

The grand opening was a star-studded affair with Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, The Chainsmokers, Jeremy Piven, Khloe Kardashian, Joe Manganiello, Joe Perry, Andy Cohen, Bella Thorn, and Pete Wentz in attendance.

After seeing the Oculus we ventured our way to the Bora-Bora style pool area which features a huge lagoon pool which connects a set of pool villas. It’s truly massive and makes you feel like you have left Florida behind for a moment. All of this happens with the towering Guitar Hotel behind you showing off its own LED light show.

After the celebratory guitar smash, the building came to life for the first time with a dazzling LED light show.

All of this and DAER, the new night/day club, was not able to open yet. Blocked off by a small sign, the club will celebrate its official grand opening next weekend with performances from Dillon Francis, Tiesto, and The Chainsmokers. Stay tuned as we will check out DAER next weekend!
