Thanks to Architectural Digest we can take a look of how the multi-millionaire DJ and producer Steve Aoki lives. He holds the 4th position on this year’s Forbes Electronic Music Cash Kings list. After checking Zedd’s mansion in L.A, now it’s time to discover the inside of Aoki’s playhouse.
We have seen this house in some video clips and in social media posts, but in these pictures, we can check it out with more detail. Aoki spent around $3 million to purchase the house. The real value of the property was $12 million but thanks to the financial crisis in 2008, it was listed for less. This was a bargain that Aoki could not resist.
Regarding the state of the house, Aoki said that he had to put a huge investment of money and time to convert the property to the technologically savvy and modernist space of his dreams. Moreover, he gathers a lot of valuable things inside its walls. Apart from his colossal sneaker collection, he owns an entire room devoted to 3-D pieces. The collection includes pieces from his favorite artist, KAWS, and a Banksy sculpture.
Furthermore, he renewed the swimming pool and transformed the playhouse which now includes crazy things such as a halfpipe. Other beautiful pieces of this house are the studio and the kitchen, where his own chef prepares the food. Better check it with your own eyes.
