Carl Cox Confirms He’s Playing at Glastonbury Festival 2020

As 2019 rolls slowly to an end, it’s time to start planning the festivals to hit up in 2020! Glastonbury Festival has always been high on festival bucket lists. Moreover, 2020 will mark the iconic festival’s 50th anniversary. Glastonbury Festival 2020 is scheduled for June 24-28 on Worthy Farm, and the lineup is already slowly starting to take shape. Techno legend Carl Cox is the latest to join this highly coveted list of performers.

Carl Cox recently made the DJ Mag Top 100 list with a #35 ranking (up 18). On top of that, Ibiza’s most famous resident DJ also received the Highest Techno award last weekend.

Speaking to DJ Mag, Carl Cox confirmed:

We’ve got the 50 years of Glastonbury coming up, so I’m looking forward to be playing that, and that’s going to be something which is a landmark of Glastonbury musical history.

Other acts confirmed for the festival include Diana Ross, who will be playing in the Sunday Legends slot, and Wolf Alice. Meanwhile, rumored acts include Paul McCartney, The 1975 and Madonna. With tickets having sold out in merely 34 minutes, we can’t wait to see the rest of the lineup emerge. One thing is for certain, though – Carl Cox certainly knows how to hype up a crowd.
