Muse‘s alternative track ‘Starlight’ (2006) was a massive hit for the band. Russian DJ and producer ARTY announced that a remix to ‘Starlight’ is in works. The other day, he shared a small snippet of the track on Twitter. Check it out down below.
The original track is an impressive example of innovative alternative rock. Based on the small snippet, ARTY takes the sound in a different direction. Keeping the integrity of Muse’s vocals, he blends a dancier, more rhythmic beat. This tempo is in line with ARTY’s signature sound that we have become accustomed to. ARTY also indicates that he has been waiting to make a remix for the track for quite some time. This is certainly a passion project for ARTY.
ARTY is simply on a roll this year. He releasing tracks left and right, and we couldn’t be happier. We are stoked to see how he continues to progress, and cannot wait to see what he cooks up next. Assuming that ‘Starlight” will incorporate an engaging buildup followed by an equally enticing drop, it will certainly be a crowd favorite.
