Porter Robinson Cancels Labor Day Weekend Show ‘Due to Illness’

Fans must have been disappointed as official notification from OMNIA San Diego came in just hours before showtime that Porter Robinson would not be able to perform later that evening ‘due to illness’. Attendees later also learned that San Diego-based Cheyenne Giles would be filling in instead.

The official announcement also provided a customer service contact for any questions regarding pre-purchased tickets:

LABOR DAY SUNDAY TALENT UPDATE.
Due to illness, Porter Robinson will be unable to perform at
OMNIA San Diego tonight. We wish Porter a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back soon. For any questions regarding pre-purchased tickets please contact support@venuedriver.com.

Porter was originally scheduled to at OMNIA San Diego as part of the massive Labor Day Weekend lineup alongside other names including Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and Zedd. However, like us, he is only human and equally vulnerable to the unpleasantry of falling sick, and so, fans were very understanding. Here, we also wish him a quick recovery!

Don’t worry though, he still has quite a few shows lined up for the rest of the year, next up being at Hakkasan Nightclub on October 11!
