Marshmello Exits Residency at Kaos Nightclub

Since its grand opening earlier this year, Kaos Nightclub has made headlines time and time again. From hosting major acts such as Eric Prydz to signing an industry-shocking $60 million contract for residency with Marshmello, Kaos has easily dazzled its way into the center of the Vegas party scene.

Kaos Dayclub and Nightclub

However, things have taken a surprising turn for Kaos. For us, the most shocking is probably Marshmello’s departure as resident headliner, after just six months into the two-year contract. A look into the club’s Upcoming Events shows no indication of Marshmello playing in the coming months. On the flip-side, a quick check on Marshmello’s Tour Schedule also suggests no upcoming shows at Kaos. Interestingly, other heading DJ’s including G-Eazy and Skrillex also appear to be missing from the club’s calendar.

So what could have happened? While attempts to reach reps for both Palms Casino Resort and Kaos have been unsuccessful, a deeper dive into the matter brought out the topic of rivalry between Kaos and Wynn Las Vegas, where Marshmello had previously headlined. According to sources, a bidding war between the two over Marshmello is also said to have escalated the rivalry. It could be unrelated, but who knows?

With more information yet to surface, we’ll be on top of this story to keep you posted.
