CRSSD Festival Fall 2019 – Food and Beverage Edition

CRSSD Festival takes place twice a year at Waterfront Park in San Diego. The two-day event typically draws in about 15,000 attendees per day, and is often completely sold out. In addition to being known as a house-music haven, the oceanfront venue is also known for its incredible food and beverage options. The 10-year anniversary of CRSSD will be no exception, seeing as we already got a sneak peak of what to expect inside.

Craft Beers and Specialty Cocktails

CRSSD takes pride in featuring local San Diego craft beers for its attendees at the event (Insider Tip: Cali Creamin’ tastes like a soda float. If in doubt, try it out). There are four *specialty* cocktails, with CRSSD-themed names. These include House Margarita, Techno With A Tea, CRSSD Mule and Palms Lemonade.

And in case you were wondering… yes, they will have White Claw.

Food

There is a large array of food options across the board from different local vendors. From paella to açaí bowls to spicy tuna rolls, you will not leave hungry. There are also extensive vegan and vegetarian options.

Pizza, of course

This deserves its own category, because the pizza at CRSSD is BOMB.COM. Grab a slice and some napkins, and get back to grooving in the grass.

The festival scene has evolved and grown immensely over the years. According to a Nielson study from 2018, “52% of the U.S. population attends some sort of live music event each year.” Imagine how this percentage would increase if we included the entire world. From unbelievably massive events to those that are more intimate, there seems to be a festival atmosphere for everyone. No matter the size of the festival, food and beverage are two important elements that can have a large impact on the entire experience as a whole.

For those attending CRSSD Festival, bon appetit and CHEERS! For more information on the event, check out https://www.crssdfest.com/.
