Tomorrowland just announced the theme for this 2020 winter edition.
In a short Facebook video post, The Belgian Festival revealed today the next edition is going to be called The Book of Wisdom – The Frozen Chapter.
After “The Frozen Lotus” in its first edition last year, the Lotus mainstage made its way to Belgium to replace the Organ of Harmony. Now it looks like some cross-pollination is in order as the Book of Wisdom travels to France.
This will be be the 5th time the Book of Wisdom has opened at a Tomorrowland festival. The very first time was at the iconic edition of 2012, the second one was in at TomorrowWorld in Chattahoochee Hills, the third was at Tomorrowland Brazil, and of course the fourth in 2019 when the theme was re-used to celebrate 15 years of Tomorrowland. If you were at Tomorrowland 2019 or watched the live streams, you probably heard the book’s voice at the closing spectacles. One of the last lines was:
“The book is now closing…but it will inevitably reopen again…“.

Now we know when this will happen, and it might not be the only one. Will the Belgium mainstage make its way to France in some form? Pre-registrations have already started on the Tomorrowland Winter website. The Festival will be taking place in the French Alpes, “Alpes d’Huez” from the 14th until the 21st of March 2020.
