The album begins with Gold’s latest single ‘The City Sleeps Tonight,’ which had made its radio debut on Armin van Buuren’s ASOT 930 just two weeks back. A beautiful mix of euphoric trance and Gold’s signature harder trance sound, the track sets the tone and energy for the rest of the album.

Next up is ‘Come Home,’ an upbeat track in collaboration with HVNNAH that will definitely lift you up with its celebratory pianos and bouncing synths. The tone completely shifts with ‘While You El?‘, a powerful banger created with Rb Naylr. With undulating instrumentals and “huge fluctuations between light and dark sections,” this track will definitely get crowds going.

We head into the album’s halfway point with Sapphire (Recut),’ a reimagined version of ‘Sapphire’ released back in 2010 that “[radiates] power and brilliance”, and ‘Ghost’. Featuring both Ruben De Ronde and Louise Rademaker, ‘Ghost’ proves how a good dose of sultry vocals can make trance that much more emotively powerful.

Gold then takes us to trance heaven with ‘Take Me To Heaven,’ a track produced alongside Sheridan Group and Fahjah, with Julia Ross on vocals. With rolling arpeggios and powerful drops throughout, the track is guaranteed to be a club hit. The dancefloor energy continues with ‘Step Inside,’ a collaboration with After Midnight that is a true powerhouse track.

Finally, the album ends on a high note as Gold teams up with Richard Durand for ‘A Thousand Times. Trance fans will sure listen to this a thousand times as the two masterminds create a track that reminds us what trance should be.

All in all, with the energy it’s bringing, ‘Sound Advice: Chapter Two’ will definitely become a classic in the trance world. Listen to the album below or through your preferred music source!
