Armin van Buuren Announces Album Title and ASOT 950 Event

As we mentioned to you recently, Armin van Buuren has another album coming. Today he made it official on his ASOT Radio show. The album is titled Balance and it will be his first-ever double album. That’s right, 14 tracks of the album are already out, but the other 14 are brand-spanking new! It’s all coming on October 25th.

The album title comes back to a very relevant theme to the Armin fandom. That is his venturing into known and unknown musical territories and finding the balance between them. It is always a point of discussion among fans whether Armin is “still trance” or not. With Embrace Armin tried his hand at new styles of music which some diehards might not love, and with Moons of Jupiter he explored all of the realms of trance, techno, and progressive. Now Balance aims to bring the two worlds together, and we’re plenty excited to hear it.

Armin also announced the ASOT 950 kickoff event in Utrecht for February. It will be a 2-day celebration and feature a “never before seen special opening show”.
