David Guetta Forced to Cancel Show Due to Food Poisoning

As per usual, David Guetta has been busy touring the globe. Today, the French DJ was scheduled to perform at the Red Valley Festival but was forced to cancel due to food poisoning.

Illness, canceled or missed flights, among much more, are but a mere few examples that may impede an artist from being able to make it to their performance.

These things happen, and fans need to realize that it is not usually the performer’s fault for being forced to cancel, and more importantly, it hurts them just as much to not be present.

In this case, David Guetta was dealt an unlucky hand and became very sick. On August 13, 2019, he released an official statement outlining the situation among other important details.

Despite his team’s best attempts to reschedule the performance to a later date, they were advised that they were unable to do so due to the festival’s strict and preplanned dates.

There is, however, good news for ticketholders – they “will be refunded at the source of their purchase, and are encouraged to contact the Red Valley Festival directly for any further inquiries.

We wish the hardworking producer a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him bounce back during his upcoming performances within the coming days. Rest up!
