[Event Recap] Galantis Puts on Unforgettable Show at the Brooklyn Mirage

The Swedish DJ duo, Galantis, is undoubtedly one of the best acts in dance music today. This past Independence Day Weekend, Galantis arrived in New York to perform at the Brooklyn Mirage. Over the past few years, the duo consisting of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw have put out countless hit tracks and have collaborated with some of the biggest acts in music. But what truly captivates their fans is their undeniable passion when they are performing atop the stage. Their sheer drive to give fans the best possible Galantis show each and every time they step foot on stage is truly inspiring and this was put on display at their show this weekend.

Just two days after performing at a sold-out show at Marquee New York, Galantis returned to the Big Apple to perform a second sold-out show at the Brooklyn Mirage. With supporting sets by Hook N Sling and the Phantoms, Galantis put on one unforgettable event. The duo played all their biggest hits to a delighted crowd who sang along and danced way into the AMs. As if there weren’t enough fireworks on the 4th already, pyrotechnics lit up the sky all night during the show. Performing tracks like ‘Bones‘, ‘We Can Get High‘, and classics like ‘Runaway (U & I)‘, Galantis had the crowd vibing until throughout their set.

In today’s dance music scene, often times, artists incorporate live instruments, gimmick tracks or special guests to stand out amongst other acts. While Galantis do use live instruments during their sets, the most impressive aspect of their show is the enthusiasm they bring with them each time they perform. This is such an important component of a show as the energy they project also radiates and transcends to everyone in attendance.

Galantis was announced to as part of the star-studded residency lineup of Wynn Nightlife for 2019. Alongside their Las Vegas residency dates, they are currently on tour with dates spanning until October already. Click here to see if the duo will be stopping by in your city some time soon.
