Ben Gold – Sapphire

The original ‘Sapphire’ track is one of Ben Gold‘s most iconic songs. No doubt, the smash single first released in 2010 is well deserving of a remake.

‘Sapphire (Recut)’ sees Ben Gold return to his hard style trance which is so beloved by fans. Whatsmore, the track marks a return to the Garuda label for Ben Gold. Sapphire (Recut) is taken from the second chapter of his ‘Sound Advice’ album. Its worth noting, the upcoming album is set to be released this September.

Moreover, speaking from his studio in Amsterdam, Gold explained the reason for revisiting the original edit:

“The original Sapphire will always be one of my favourite records I’ve produced. It has attitude, and a real swagger about it. It’s designed for the dance floor.“But music evolves and almost 10 years on, I wanted to produce a version for today’s dance floors and festivals that does the original justice. I’m certainly not trying to better the original though.”

Without a doubt, Ben Gold is certainly on a hot streak at the moment. Nevertheless, this remake of Sapphire only adds to the hype. This year saw Gold team up with Omnia to create Futurecode. In addition, the duo teamed up to deliver one of the year’s best trance tracks in ‘Trinity’.
