At 21 years young, Grammy-winning artist and multi-platinum producer Steve James has proven himself early in the the electronic music world. His newest track, ‘missing you’, combines instrumental rhythm with captivating vocals from Eric Nam. This is the first single prior to the unveiling of his solo EP.

Steve James took to Twitter to explain some of the inspiration behind the song.

He is known for his whole-hearted approach to production and his extraordinary range as a musician. His lyrics are “written from the heart” according to his Spotify bio, alongside his melodic sounds which are catchy and downright unforgettable.

At age 12, he began producing remixes with elements inspired by artists like Avicii and Afrojack. Alongside songwriter Poo Bear, Steve James is a co-writer and co-producer of Justin Bieber‘s hit track, ‘Purpose’. At 17 years old, he collaborated with Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha on the double-platinum single, ‘In The Name Of Love’. Following this release, he has gone on tour all around the world with Martin Garrix, Matoma, The Chainsmokers and more. In 2019, Steve James has proven himself as a true vocalist with his track ‘Fall For You’, his official debut on Casablanca Records.

As a result of his early success, Steve James has made quite the name for himself. There is no doubt that we will be hearing more from him in 2019.
