QUIX – Guiding Light (feat. Sanna Martinez)
New Zealand producer QUIX is a key player in the trap game right now. After his breakthrough Illusions EP, he’s been making huge waves in the scene and keeping the momentum flowing. Hot off of his Dim Mak releases ‘Berserk‘ and ‘Stronger’, he’s back with his third single on the imprint. ‘Guiding ‘Light’ is his latest hit which seeks a balance between dark and light.
Starting off with the sultry vocals of Sanna Martinez, ‘Guiding Light’ shows that QUIX is changing things up. As the melodic intro builds up to the drop, listeners get a sonic blast of his signature wonky trap and heavy basslines. The contrast between the softer vocal tones with the dominating trap shows how his sound is continuing to evolve. We’re sure that we can expect more of this to come as he continues to shake new grounds with his unique sound design.
