As heard on Above & Beyond‘s Anjunabeats Volume 14, Oliver Smith has officially released ‘Curiosity‘. The track debuted when Above & Beyond played it in their A State of Trance 900 set.
‘Curiosity’ begins with a gripping and groovy kick and bass. The progressive track rises as it introduces sounds that then fall into a breakdown. Then, the track strips away most of its elements and leaves an emphasis on the strings and pad. To top it off off, the vibrant vocal sample gives the track a hopeful and summery feeling. ‘Curiosity’ hones into that energy in its buildup too, as Oliver adds and expands the sound.
On top of his multiple releases on Anjuna, Oliver Smith put together a mix for the label’s 8th Worldwide series rendition. Separate from the Anjuna name, the producer also remixed Seven Lions on his ‘Calling You Home‘ track featuring RUNN. Alongside his remix, the 2 tracks released on Ophelia Records included another remix from Direct.
