Kygo feat. Valerie Broussard – Think About You
What better day to release a love song than Valentine’s Day! Norwegian producer Kygo just loves love, and who can blame the guy. Just out yesterday, this track is a must-love.
Having already released sophomore studio album Kids in Love and the track ‘I’m in Love’ on prior album Cloud Nine, he’s no stranger to love songs. However, this Valentine’s Day is a little different. Kygo and vocalist Valerie Broussard give us their new track ‘Think About You‘. This is a tale of how love drifted wayward – but no matter where you are, that person will always be on your mind and in your heart.
‘Think About You’ starts softly with Valerie’s vocals and builds up into one of Kygo’s signature melodic piano chords progressions. He continues those chords through the drop, which adds a bright synth that gives a clean electric guitar sound and a tropical feel. The only thing that could possibly make this track better would be a duet showing both sides of the wayward love thinking about each other. Maybe that’s an idea for the music video!
