DJ Snake’s ‘Taki Taki’ Reached One Billion Views on YouTube

The power of music lies in its ability to bring people closer. It does not matter where you come from, your background of your past. If you have music in common with someone, everything else will be alright.

Or at least, this is what DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B are trying to prove with their most recent hit ‘Taki Taki‘, that, after just 4 months of it’s video release, it has already reached more than a billion views on YouTube.

But, what’s so good about Taki Taki? First of all, it’s produced by none other than DJ Snake, a French DJ and producer that is known for combining popular rhythms with electronic music beats, turning them into dramatic pieces of art. Secondly, the song is catchy and the name is easy to remember. And, to finish, the song falls under the reggaeton category, which is (whether we want to admit it or not) one of the most mainstream music genres these days. All of these points, combined to the fact that DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B have a great chemistry when working together, and you have one of the most played songs over the past few years.

Taki Taki is definitely here to stay. Will it replace Luis Fonsi‘s ‘Despacito‘? We don’t know yet, but while we wait and see, you can check Taki Taki’s video below and follow DJ Snake on the production of his new album.
