Producer What So Not is looking to start the new year with his fresh new song titled ’We Can Be Friends’. With Herizen on vocal duty, the single comes after his 2018 album Not All The Beautiful Things which made huge waves with its diverse offering of song styles.
‘We Can Be Friends’ is a thoughtful piece that tugs at the idea of giving up on love in hopes of keeping the friendship. The piece has a gentle atmosphere but strikes deep emotionally with Herizen’s soulful but haunting voice. All of this is done in conjunction with What So Not’s fluid beat progressions that never overpowers the vocals.
