If working for Spotify wasn’t among one of your dream jobs previously, you may want to reconsider it now. Spotify is reportedly hosting a high-priced retreat for some of its executives and employees in Cancun, Mexico. The retreat, which supposedly is for the ‘entire content org’ at Spotify, boasts white-sand beaches and famous performers.

Spotify retreat attendees are supposedly staying at the Ritz Carlton Cancun. According to the hotel website, all the rooms of this five-star luxury hotel feature private balconies or terraces with ocean views. In addition, the hotel has its own tennis center, two oceanfront pools, and access to exclusive beach cabanas and villas. The rooms start at $409 per night and go up to $8,330 for the Ritz Carlton Presidential Suite.

Furthermore, as for the performers at this ritzy affair, Nicky Jam and Colombian hip hop group, ChocQuibTown, are among them. In a now deleted post, Spotify’s head of content for the Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg region, Wilbert Mutsaers, tweeted about Nicky Jam playing.

Undoubtedly, Spotify’s high-priced retreat will surely raise a few eyebrows among investors and artists. Spotify is known for its extremely low payouts on streaming, with an average of around $0.00437 per play. This amounts to the company losing around $2.68 per user on average. The current stock price sits around $134, with the company hitting its 52 week low at $103 in December.
