The world’s most popular game Fortnite has announced a virtual in-game concert that will be taking place on Saturday. The star of the show is none other than Marshmello which makes perfect sense seeing his heavy involvement with Fortnite. The DJ is known to actively play Fortnite and has even won a tournament with Ninja who recently debuted his Fortnite inspired EDM album.

Hosted by Epic, the concert will take place on Saturday at 2 pm EST in-game on a map called ‘Party at Pleasant Park’. Although map specifics are not fully out yet, we know that there will be a stage, lights, and music. There is also a leaked ‘DJ dancing’ animation which is a good indication of an NPC Marshmello dishing out some serious dance moves. Lastly, respawns on the map will be enabled adding a surprise twist to the party. It can be assumed that players will be able to attack each other in battle royale fashion. The best part is Mello will be dropping his music in the background.

Although digital, the event might the biggest party in the world to ever take place considering Fortnite’s massive 200+ million registered player base. So do consider joining in on the fun this Saturday, I know I will.
