2019 X Games Minneapolis Announces Big Four-Day Musical Lineup at The Armory

2019 X Games Features Diplo, Wu-Tang Clan & Many More

ESPN X Games Minneapolis announced their headliners for the 2019 X Games. Some familiar names include Diplo, Wu-Tang Clan, Incubus, and Chevy Metal (led by Foo Fighters‘ Taylor Hawkins and Wiley Hodgen). Rounding out the lineup includes Oakland rock group SWMRS, Minneapolis native P.O.S., and surf-rock band The Blind Shake. Their lineup announcement on Facebook shows off the event in all its glory:

The inaugural musical acts of the X Games Minneapolis in 2018 had something for everybody. Held at U.S. Bank Stadium, there is no shortage of excitement to go around. This goes double for the music portion held at the iconic Armory in Minneapolis. While last year’s show featured Kaskade, Ice Cube, and many others, 2019 promises to be bigger and better. The event will be held August 1 – 4.

The X Games are based around action events such as BMX, skateboarding and Moto X. However, through the adding of high-profile main stage musical acts, they have been able to diversify their crowds and infuse their revenue streams. X Games Aspen in January features The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Louis the Child, and Lil Wayne.
