News recently came out about Woodstock making its comeback for its 50th Anniversary. Now, there’s even an announcement of potential headliners for the event. According to Woodstock’s 50 Anniversary flyer, this event will be called Journey On. It will be a three day event with 6 stages. Also, headliners are rumored to be Pearl Jam, Eminem, and Foo Fighters. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Other artists on the list include: Chance The Rapper, Pink, Lorde, The Weeknd, Coldplay, Kesha, Mumford and Sons, Lumineers, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Graham Nash, Neil Young, Phish, Joan Baez, Bon Jovi, Elton John, The Doobie Brothers, Zac Brown Band, Florida Georgia Line, and Jason Aldean.
Of course, the EDM community is ecstatic with people like Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, deadmau5, and Skrillex being potential artists on the lineup. Event planners have their sites set on Bethel Woods, NY, which was the original location of the first Woodstock.
