In the summer of last year, Jake Spooner made his name known with a debut track that was a collaboration with none other than Tory Lanez titled “Rivals.” A few months later, he linked up with Gucci Mane for a follow-up track called “Lost,” which was produced by CRIS and SmashDavid. The fusion between rap and pop music made an artist to look out for. Now, “Lost” receives a heavy remix EP and release on Nextgen Records.
The remix package has something for everyone from artists such as Conor Ross, Uplink, PredaKore, Gang Sign, Tom Enzy, Gerrit Faber, BOOSTEDKIDS, X-Change, and 2 Tall Keith. NoCopyrightSounds affiliated artist Uplink teamed up with Conor Ross to start the remix EP off properly. Their remix takes a deep dive into airy and luscious synths with a four-on-the-floor rhythm that transitions into a trap-styled beat for Gucci Mane. PredaKore and Gang Sign’s remix builds up with trap elements. Tom Enzy’s remix comes in and drives it home with a subtle and light guitar pluck over top. Gerrit Faber bounces in with a bouncy electro house track. 2 Tall Keith, X-Change, and BOOSTEDKIDS’ remixes come through to finish out the remix EP.
