Carnage To Take A Break From Music

Carnage Taking A Break From Music

Back in September Hardwell decided to take a break from music. As with anything, some people didn’t seem to take it too seriously. It’s funny how these type of things work out sometimes. Now it seems the floodgates have opened, as yet another big name artist has also decided to take a break from music. This big name is none other than the artist known as ‘Papi Gordo‘, or Carnage as he is normally booked.

In a recent post, Carnage took to Instagram to share the news that he would be stepping away from music. In it, he talked about slowing down and taking care of his mental and physical health. He also touched upon the need to focus on his craft, which would be great for his music. Carnage talked about having friends pass away, and his need to “recharge”. He shared the post with the following message:

“Honest self-reflection opens your mind to reprogramming, change, success and freedom.”

It is known that Mental Health is not a subject to be taken lightly, especially at a time when the artists that we love seem to be going down left & right. With that being said, we hope Carnage is able to get his issues under control, but we can’t help but think that just he’s riding a wave, and following the trend started by Hardwell, and later Deadmau5. Other than the news of his name recent change, there hasn’t been much news out of the Carnage camp. It will be interesting to see where things go from here for ‘El Diablo’, but only time will tell, and we’ll be waiting.
