thook – Hesitations
Toronto based DJ thook is coming back with a slew of music that’s fresh, wild, and addictive. He recently finished his collaboration ‘VOIDLESS’ with TYNAN which was released on Quality Good Records. One thing that’s important to know about thook is that he never fails to surprise. Producing tracks from trap to future bass, you can bet his next project won’t be one to sleep on. Now, to continue his recent success, he returns with his newest single ‘Hesitations‘.
‘Hesitations’ is the third track off thook’s forthcoming Natural Instincts EP. Mystery and darkness describe this track as the opening slowly creeps into a pounding drop. The texture of the track is sparse with thook using a minimal amount of sounds to create each section of the song. Sprinkled throughout the track are vocal snippets that say “rubber band money” and this gives the track that extra “umph” to come off as hard.
