Over the weekend, one of the biggest trance events of the year took place in Prague, Czech Republic in the form of Transmission Festival. Legendary names in trance like Markus Schulz and Paul van Dyk graced the stage at the O2 Arena. However, one set stood out amongst the rest. With Jono and Paavo representing the legendary trio, Above & Beyond brought the heat to Transmission Festival, playing a stand out set we couldn’t ignore.
Having just blown the roof off the Asia-World Expo in Hong Kong for their monumental Group Therapy 300 show, A&B brought those same new Anjuna tunes to Prague. They kicked off their headlining set with their club mix of ‘Always’, bringing feel-good vibes from the start. Throughout the set, the two A&B producers played a heavy and fast-paced set.
Throughout the set you’ll A&B classics of new and old. Common Ground fan favorites ‘Tightrope’, ‘Is It Love?’, ‘Happiness Amplified’, and ‘Northern Soul’ all roared through the speakers. Music from Cosmic Gate, Ilan Bluestone, Fatum, and Virtual Self all made appearances in the set as well. And of course, it couldn’t be a true Above & Beyond set without at least ‘Thing Called Love’ or ‘Sun And Moon’. Luckily for the attendees of Transmission, they got both.
There’s no better way to fix your Monday blues than with this near-two hour long set. Check out Above & Beyond’s Transmission set below and let us know what you think of it.
