Justin Bieber: First Artist to Have 4 Songs over 1 Billion Streams on Spotify

Justin Bieber is a force to be reckoned with. Besides the antics in his personal life that garners the attention of people worldwide, he has had some major accomplishments in the music industry. Earlier this week, he can add one more accomplishment to his name, as the first and only artist to have four songs hit one billion streams on Spotify.

The song ‘Let Me Love You’ in collaboration with DJ Snake is Bieber’s fourth home run. This catchy track also happens to be DJ Snake’s second single to hit a billion streams. Snake’s first megahit was ‘Lean On,’ which he collaborated on with Major Lazer and MØ.

Justin Bieber’s first song to reach the billion-stream mark happened this past December with ‘Sorry’. He then quickly obtained two more songs in the billion-stream category by February: ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘Despacito’. This Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee-driven powerhouse of a song also happens to be the first Latin track to reach one billion streams on Spotify.

Bieber, however, does not hold the song with the most Spotify streams. That title, as of today, belongs to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’.

Despite that, Bieber is obviously killing it in the streaming world. His song ‘What Do You Mean?’ currently has over 950 million streams on Spotify. Now any bets on when Bieber’s going to have five songs with one billion streams? My guess is within the next couple months at the latest.
