Its always well accepted whenever producers revisit old songs and are able to extract the essence of the piece to create something new with modern age sounds. Up and coming duo Black Caviar have done just that with their newest single ‘Freak’. The song presents a high energy twist on the 1995 gem ‘Freak Like Me’ by Andina Howard.
While the original holds its own as one of the classic club songs of its time, this one takes it to the next level. Andina’s familiar vocal sample kicks off the track amidst a thumping bassline that would start up any dance party. The energy is steady and quick thanks to the funky beat breakdown.
