Yotto Shows Off His Perfection with Debut Album, Hyperfall

YOTTO – Hyperfall

Finnish Deep House star Yotto has certainly had a meteoric rise in the last two years. 2017 saw Yotto gain some massive support and play alongisde the likes of Eric Prydz, Sven Väth, Jooris Vorn, and more. Additionally, October of 2017 saw the release of an absolutely epic 5 track EP North.

Fast forward a year later and now he’s played two sets at Tomorrowland (in one day), had a massive summer tour, and released an epic 13 track album Hyperfall on Anjunadeep. We’ve listened to this album from start to finish multiple times and can sum it up in one word: perfection.

All 13 of the tracks are unique in their own way. However, its worth pointing out our top 4 in no particular order. Take our word for it, the tracks Hyperfall’, ‘Kantsu’, ‘Hyperlude’, and ‘Walls’ take home the top prizes.

Interestingly enough, we sat down with Yotto over the summer to talk about the upcoming album. Are you wondering what’s up with the name Hyperfall? Well, don’t read too much into it actually.

“Hyperfall is actually, its a funny thing, I sent my manager a set of photos of my dog in the woods in the fall. The colors were so bright, red, yellow, green and he just wrote Hyperfall. That word kind of stuck with us and the album is gonna come out in the fall anyway so the name Hyperfall really felt like it fit. Musically it’s gonna be a bit of everything.”
