RÜFÜS DU SOL – Lost In My Mind
RÜFÜS DU SOL has had quite a year with releases such as ‘No Place’ and ‘Underwater’. They have now released their final track of the EP, “Lost In My Mind“. The energetic single will make you want to stand up and dance (just like every single by the talented trio).
The track starts off with vocal samples and a very rhythmic break. The chorus is nothing short of catchy, and the drop will make you want to dance. Moreover, you will hear the signature dreamy plucks by the trio throughout the song. Furthermore, the story behind the single is intriguing. RÜFÜS DU SOL stated:
We basically took a two-day trip to the desert, to Joshua Tree. The intention was to go find some lyrics for a few of the songs that didn’t have any final lyrics on it. We took a synth and a small recording set up up there. On the first night we were like let’s just break the ice and you know have a bit of fun and just mess around with an idea. All the lyrics of “Lost In My Mind” were written in that one day and then the song pretty much formed over that two-day period.
