The Chainsmokers have enlisted teen mega-star Camila Mendes as the lead of the music video for their latest smash, “Side Effects.” Mendes, who plays Veronica Lodge on The CW’s Riverdale, takes center stage as hotel worker Riley as she receives the bad news that she will be working through the weekend.
Not letting that keep her down, Riley turns the hallways, pool, and cabanas at the Shore Club in South Beach, Miami into her own personal dance floor. Viewers also get a peek into the neon-soaked rooms of the hotel’s denizens as Mendes gets down to the beat. If you keep your eyes open you may even spot The Chainsmokers among the guests.
