Stereosonic Is Being Replaced With A New Multi-City Event, FestivalX

Stereosonic FestivalX

The masterminds behind several notable brands such as Stereosonic, Hardware and Onelove will be partnering up to debut a brand new traveling festival in conjunction with Live Nation named FestivalX. Festival X will be held at four major cities across Australia and New Zealand, with the 1st date landing on November 29 in Auckland. FestivalX will then continue to Brisbane on November 30, Sydney on December 1, and Melbourne on December 2.

Live Nation Australia CEO, Roger Field stated:

“FestivalX is going to showcase the best local and international talent while bringing fans a new festival experience. It’s going to be huge, and it’s going to be the pre-summer party fans have been waiting for,”

Hardware chief Richie McNeill also added FestivalX will provide a “value for money musical experience” as the initiative assumes the place of the previously five-city spanning inactive Stereosonic festival, established in Melbourne in 2007. “We’ve been working on this for awhile now and the time is right.”

More information about FestivalX’s location at each city, ticket pricing, and lineups will be announced in the next few weeks. Expect something big!
