Excision – Apex
Earlier this month Excision took to Twitter to announce his forthcoming fourteen track album. And just a short few weeks later his Apex album has finally arrived. Featuring a handful of collabs from the likes of Illenium, Dion Timmer, Sullivan King, and Space Laces, the album is incredible from the first track to the last.
As to be expected from any Excision body of work, Apex is full of heaters that go hard. With that being said, the standout tracks of the album would definitely be the previously released collab with Illenium, ‘Gold‘, and the newly released collab with Dion Timmer entitled ‘Home’. Like ‘Gold’, ‘Home’ is a beautifully melodic offering that’s a bit different from the usual Excision sound but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. From start to finish the album definitely lives up to its name and is arguably his best body of work to date.
