DROELOE – Looking Back
The Dutch duo DROELOE is back with another unique tune. Known for the variety in their musical styles and intricate visual accompaniment, the two Dutchmen are creating a unique and dedicated fan base. After a string of releases on the Monstercat label, Vincent Rooijers and Hein Hamers have returned to bitbird. Their newest tune ‘Looking Back‘ continues their journey of producing cutting edge projects.
The emotional story of a narrator who has been “kicked down to the ground by the voices in my head,” ‘Looking Back’ actually has an incredibly positive message. With a mix between bass and breaks, the production on the track first creates a sense of being lost. Then as the narrator is encouraged to “fight this battle till the end” the instrumentation becomes clearer, more focused.
