Creamfields Give Fans Opportunity to Volunteer With Homeless & Receive Festival Ticket

Looking to learn new skills, work with those homeless or in danger of being homeless, and attend Creamfields this year? Creamfields, in collaboration with the 10,000 Hours Foundation, are teaming up once again to spread awareness and give back to those in need.

Twenty festival fans will be able to connect with volunteer work and local charities and initiatives with those in the community. This year’s volunteer day will be held on Saturday August 11th at the Halton Lodge in Runcorn, just outside of Daresbury, UK.
Halton Lodge specializes in providing shelter for those who have been living on the streets or those who are at risk of becoming homeless. The hostel depends on volunteers to care for the 66 individuals, and manage various services and activities to get them back on their feet. Yousef, one of this year’s performers at Creamfields, will be joining the 20 volunteers this coming August. Since 2010, the 10,000 Hours Foundation has organized over 50,000 hours of volunteer work supporting the homeless, elderly, local communities, and environment.
