Vujaday Festival Announces 2019 Return To Barbados + 2018 Recap

Vujaday Returns To Barbados in 2019

If watching the sunset off the coast of the Caribbean, while sipping on a piña colada with your closest friends, and listening to your favorite techno or house DJ throw down a sick set is your cup of tea, then Vujaday might be the festival for you. From April 3-7, 2019 throughout the beautiful island of Barbados, Vujaday will return for a second year of spectacular techno and house music.

Last year the festival saw huge names in tech house. From Dirtybird player Justin Martin to Desert Hearts boys Mikey Lion and Lee Reynolds. Others in attendance included Green Velvet, Latmun, Solardo, Mark Knight, Francesca Lombardo, Lee Foss and a whole lot more. A unique characteristic of Vujaday is the decision to split the sets up through different venues around the island so attendees can have a change of scenery and get to experience Barbados as the top destination it is. Tickets for Vujaday are on sale now, and surprisingly cheap if you can snag an early bird pass for $149 plus fees. You can find them here.

Oh, and what’s with the funky name mean? Ryan Kruger, the co-founder of the festival told Forbes.com last year

“The name is the opposite of déjà vu, it means, like something you have never seen or felt before.”
