REZZ x 1788-L – H E X
Canadian rising star producer Isabelle “REZZ” Rezazadeh and mystery act 1788-L have teamed up on REZZ’s new album Certain Kind of Magic for the hypnotic track ‘H E X’. Certain Kind of Magic is set to release in early August and this is the second single from the album we have heard, after ‘Witching Hour‘.
REZZ has been opening her shows at festivals with the unsuspecting, high-pitched melody that leads into an absolutely stunning wallop of bass at the drop. If you haven’t been to one of her shows before, when the drop hits you with the volume cranked your soul leaves your body until the next act comes on. 1788-L’s influence doesn’t go unnoticed in the track either, they have the same proclivity for slow, new beat rhythms that are becoming more and more popular.
1788-L has slowly crept into the scene in 2018, with remixes of Daft Punk, Virtual Self, Skrillex and Illenium. Their imagination for creative drops is so refreshing, and the sound design fits perfectly in with REZZ. The only thing we want next is a collaboration with Notaker!
