If you know the story of DIRTYBIRD, then you’re probably well aware of the fact that this iconic imprint was born and bred in none other than San Francisco, CA. And if you’re a Bay Area dweller as well, you’ve likely already marked this Saturday, June 2 on your calendar.
If not, you should – because the Dirtybird BBQ is back in Oakland, and it’s one of our favorite West Coast parties of the year. They’ve moved venues from their traditional Treasure Island spot to a new location at the Middle Harbor Shoreline Park and will be bumpin’ beats all day from noon to 8pm.
The lineup is unsurprisingly, absolutely stacked – it never fails that the Bay edition of this event brings the OG Dirtybird crew back to its roots. You can catch the label godfather Claude Vonstroke, brothers Justin and Christian Martin, as well as J.Phlip, Worthy and Ardalan on the decks.
Year after year, this event has continued to be a stellar afternoon in the sunshine filled with friends, bass and a ton of great food. The one-stage family vibe has always brought together the tight-knit, fun-loving Dirtybird community we all know and love so well, and we have no doubt that this year will be any different.
