SLANDER & WAVEDASH – Move Back

LA-based duo SLANDER is teamed up with the Austin-base trio WAVEDASH for a hot new release ‘Move Back’ on Insomniac Records. SLANDER is on a roll this year, releasing ‘Superhuman’ with Eric Leva, ‘We Out’ with Stoltenhoff, ‘Happy Now’ and a remix of Major Lazer‘s ‘Know No Better’.

The track is features a long, choppy intro that masterfully builds tension, sounding more like a theatrical or video game boss fight piece at first. It explodes into the drop “Motherf*cker MOVE BACK” and instantly feels like a more traditional SLANDER piece. The WAVEDASH influence in the dubstep is strong, and adds nicely to the confrontational feeling. The track has a very unique ending, slowing down around 2/3rd of the way through and turning into a trippy anthemic piece. An organ and aggressive synths make you feel like you’re in a haunted house.

SLANDER & NGHTMRE brought WAVEDASH on stage at Ultra to preview the track, during their Gud Vibrations show. Just this year the Gud Vibrations crew hosted their first Gud Vibrations Boat Party during Miami Music Week 2018, which sold out in three minutes. They enjoyed a successful stint on Holy Ship 2018, also with NGHTMRE.

Currently on their Superhuman tour, SLANDER is going to hit all the major festivals including Lollapalooza, Moonrise, Creamfields, and EDC Vegas. Tickets for those shows are available here.
