Youtube Will Increase Their Ads For Premium Service Increase
There is not a single person that is fan of Youtube Ads other than the creators themselves. Nothing kills the vibe of watching music videos or live sets other than getting interrupted by an Ad.
Unfortunately, the 1.3 billion people who use the video-viewing website will start to experience more ads. Why would one of the most used websites do this? This tactic (Youtube believes) will frustrate viewers into buying the website’s premium service. Lyor Choen, Google’s global head of music, stated in an interview:
You’re not going to be happy after you are jamming ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and you get an ad right after that.
We live in an era where we are surrounded by subscriptions such as: Spotify, Apple Music, and now YT Red. Will dropping $10 a month be worth the ad-free videos?
