Insomniac Releases First Wave of Shows for EDC Week

Boy oh boy does Insomniac know how to throw a party. With their annual Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas set to take place on May 18th, 19th, and 20th, Insomniac has started releasing the lineups for the pool and nightclub parties leading up to the massive festival. Let’s just say if you’re the type of person that doesn’t like a lot of options, you should probably stop reading on.

The first round of events will take place from May 16th to the 21st, with May 22nd and 23rd still to be announced. Beginning with May 16th, you can soak up some sun with Gorgon City and Camelphat at Marquee Dayclub. At night, Above & Beyond will take to the decks at Hakkasan Nightclub.

Thursday is really the first slammed day of events. Some highlights include Above & Beyond at Wet Republic, Andrew Rayel and Firebeatz at Marquee Day Club, Armin van Buuren at OMNIA, and Hardwell at Hakkasan.

The long list of events continues during the weekend. Alesso, Yellow Claw, RL Grime, and Major Lazer are all set to play at Encore Beach Club. Kaskade, Tiesto, and Martin Garrix are tapped to rip up Wet Republic. From experience, if you’re going to EDC, make sure to hit up the pool parties during the day. You might as well get the full experience of Vegas before you leave.

Rounding out the last day of events (so far) will be Monday the 21st. You can see Armin at Wet Republic, MK at Drai’s Beach Club, and The Chainsmokers at XS. These events are always massive and tickets go quickly. The best pool and nightclub parties in the entire country are in Las Vegas, so make moves fast.

You can check out the list of events by day below. If you’re heading out to Vegas in May, remember to bring sunscreen, some friends, and good vibes. There’s no place like it. You can purchase tickets to the events here.

If you aspire to become a DJ or musician, you should start your journey by finding a good explanation on the instrument you think is suitable for you.
