Deadmau5 Orchestral Album & Live Performance Announced

Finally the mystery surrounding the Deadmau5 orchestra project has been cleared up. Oddly enough its TIDAL that is still alive is announcing the details and putting their partnership with Joel to good use for this one.

The deadmau5 orchestral album will be called where’s the drop? and the album will be released on March 30. Even better there will be a special live performance on April 1st at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. And for those not fortunate enough to catch it live, the performance and the album will be released exclusively through TIDAL.

What tracks might we expect to see in this orchestral album? The video provides some hints that we’ll see “Superbia”, “Ira”, “Imaginary Friends”, and of course “Strobe”. Needless to say the TIDAL paywall for this is going to suck, but maybe this will actually get some people to try the service out. The TIDAL presale begins at noon EST today and general sales begin tomorrow (March 8) at noon EST. Check out the trailer above and grab your presale tickets here.
